About Me


My name is Alexander. I’m a 22 year old engineering student from Denmark. I am currently on my 6th semester of my undergraduate degree. My strengths are primarily in mathematics, programming and logical thinking, which was why I chose to study software engineering. I plan to take a masters degree in software engineering, and work internationally upon graduating.

I would describe myself as extremely ambitious and I am constantly searching for ways to improve my own work. I do this by always evaluating my own performance, and being a good listener, to learn from the people around me. I’m writing my thesis in machine learning with the company UIzard.

Teaching assistant in the course "Agile Object Oriented Software Development". It was a course I received a top grade in the year before, and was therefore selected as the teaching assistant for this year. The primary topics of the course include OO-Programming, Agile Methodologies and Java.

IT Support Staff

Providing IT support to students and employees at Technical Univeristy of Denmark (DTU). DTU is a univeristy of around 11.000 students, so there are a lot of different IT systems in use, that I had to learn very quickly. I therefore became used to, and good at, adapting to new systems.



Tutoring high school students in various topics in math and physics. In high school I was in a math and physics program, so these two topics was a strength of mine, that I tried to teach to other students through this job.

HitchHike is an app I'm currently working on. The app is intended to create a platform that facilitates carpooling. So far we have a working functional prototype with limited features, but me and my team are planning on adding on additional features, so it will be a truly useful app.

Supervised Image super-resolution and denoising

This project I worked on in the fall of 2018. We were asked to improve some low dose x-ray images, to make them less noisy and give them better resolution. We did this using Keras, a neural network API, running on top of TensorFlow.

iTrust is a system developed by professors at the universities NCSU and UIUC, in collaboration with students taking the software engineering class. iTrust is a medical system, where doctors can create and view records.
